For the spring semester, I have given up the small town of Grantham, Pennsylvania, to live in an entirely different part of the world. THAILAND!! I have become a fully enrolled student at the Chiang Mai University in Chiang Mai, Thailand and will be exploring many different aspects of Thai culture! I'll be learning the Thai language, living with a Thai family, taking classes and interning at a local organization. I'm so excited!

Welcome!

Hey Everyone! Welcome to my newest adventure... to THAILAND! I'll be studying abroad for the spring semester with a program called "Spring Semester in Thailand"! It's gonna be quite the adventure... I'll be taking two Thai language classes, a Thai society class, a Thai art class and also have an internship in the afternoons. It'll be a full 18 credits but should be a great semester. I'll be living with a Thai family in Chiang Mai, which is a city in Northern Thailand and studying at the Chiang Mai University. There are about 30 students going on this program and about 14 of them are from Messiah. Others come from Westmont, Covenant and Eastern Universities. I'm going to meet lots of different people and learn so much! I'll try to update this blog as often as I can with my adventures and stories.
